JK Tae Kwon Do Academy has a long history of excellence with multiple locations established over the years. Our San Antonio location has proudly served the community since 2010, offering high quality Taekwondo training for kids, teens, and adults.

Our academy is a place where students build confidence, develop strong character, and grow into leaders. Through Taekwondo, students gain the discipline and mindset needed to reach their goals in and out of the studio.

Grand Master Kim (8th Dan) brings over 40 years of experience in Taekwondo and founded JK Tae Kwon Do Academy. Continuing his legacy, his son, Master Kim (6th Dan), opened and has led the San Antonio location since 2010. Master Kim is one of the youngest in the world to earn his 6th degree black belt through Kukkiwon in Korea. Having trained for most of his life, he is passionate about sharing his knowledge and inspiring the next generation of students.

Our academy is proud to be involved in the community. We have partnered with the San Antonio Spurs for multiple years, giving our students the opportunity to perform during halftime shows. We also have a competition team that travels across the United States, competing and performing at the national level each year.
